Aloha and welcome back to this October edition of Shark Bites!
Coming up this week, Nick and I will be travelling to Dallas, Texas for the GoHighLevel Summit!
We’re very excited.
(If you’ll be there, message us to meet up!)
I’ll also be giving a talk on stage so this week I’ll be busy putting the final touches on that. So without further ado, let’s dive into this round of Shark Bites…
If you’d like to write in your wins and be featured, you can do so inside of the Remote Marketing Agency Owners Private Facebook Group. Remember to use “#win” so we can feature you in next week’s “Catch of the Week”.
Welcome to “Pirate’s Booty” – a curated stash of local marketing news and content for your reading pleasure.
One thing about dealing with big tech platforms is that they’re standards can sometimes seem draconian and like they don’t make sense. We’ve dealt with this a lot running Facebook ads for example.
Another platform some people struggle with is YouTube. With YouTube sometime banning creators for things that should just be warnings.
If that happened to you, then read this article about YouTube’s new “second chance policy” which lets terminated creators request a new channel:

When it comes to search, Google is obviously the 800 pound gorilla in the room. However, Bing-powered searches by Microsoft can still be important for driving traffic and revenue.
That’s why I thought you might be interested in this article about Microsoft’s guidance for optimizing for AI search visibility.
This includes structure, formatting, schema markup, and common mistakes that can harm visibility.

On this week’s Aloha Friday Coaching call, we went live for:
An Exclusive Sneak Peek Into The Talk Im Giving GoHighLevel Summit Next Week
As I said up top, next week Nick and I will be attending the annual GoHighLevel Summit.
We’re very excited for it.
And one reason I’m looking forward to it is that GoHighLevel asked me to give a talk to their audience.
So naturally, on this week's Aloha Friday Local Marketing Coaching Call, I went live to give you an exclusive sneak peek into my talk.
This was a look into AI and how to use it to rack up profits.
Unlike GHL Summit which costs thousands for a ticket, you can get this free on the coaching call replay.
Which is up now and you can find here:
The Captain’s Log
Here you can find the latest YouTube videos from our Captains Tom and Nick. They’re putting out new videos all the time, so check back each week for new goodies.
All righty, that’s all for now.
Thanks again for playing.
And if you’ll be at GHL Summit or anywhere near Dallas, definitely message us. We’d love to meet.
Talk soon!
Mahalo,
Tom Gaddis
