Most people I run into right now say something like, “how the hell have you been so busy with everything going on?”
And it's true, I've been a lot more active on social media sharing about what I've been up to… This time last year you wouldn't find much shared by me publicly on my wall or feed. S
o why the shift?
Well, because right now, I do two things:
#1 Marketing for local businesses in my area— we help to generate more customers, sales, and leads.
#2 Teach people how to build their very own digital marketing business, based off the first hand experience gained from #1
And because of the current economic climate, these businesses that I've been building have become more relevant and helpful to the community than ever before.
But let's face it..
There's no shortage of bad information and BS online.
In fact most people that create courses teaching how to make money and build businesses, don't even have the results they claim.
Ever see something online and thought that you've landed on a great idea or a side hustle, only to figure out halfway through whatever you just purchased that it was a complete sham?
It's actually really lame.. Gives those who are really sharing what works a bad rap…
…But I do see WHY they do it..
It's because building two businesses simultaneously is no easy feat – it's almost impossible to do…
Think about it, you want to figure out all the ins and outs to not only getting customers and generating revenue , but document everything going on in the day to day AND teach people how to do it at the same time?
Trust me, it's hard work, I can barely do it myself. I've had to build a team of almost 30 people.
So at the end of the day, I know why most people out there can't sustainably do this and throw in the towel.. It's just not feasible for most.
So while I sit here and write what most of you already know, this is where I draw my line in the sand.
I own a legitimate brick and mortar marketing agency, Nick Ponte Marketing , I started this business with 1 client out of my house.
In the last three years, I've far surpassed milestones I never thought possible.
We've worked with hundreds of local businesses and generated millions of dollars in revenue for ourselves and our customers.
We continue to do this day in and day out.
Which is why I feel qualified to have co-founded an education business, Offline Sharks, where we show people whats ACTUALLY working (not made up nonsense).
And in both companies, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes in the day to day, so in an effort to better get that content out there, I created a youtube channel to give me more of a platform to share my strategies.
This post is already long enough, but I felt the need to get it out there.
