Catch
catch of the week 3
  • Up first, Dorn “The MegaloDorn” Brenton, picks up a GBP management client for $500 a month canadian… plus got 2 potential wins on the way hoping to close next week. Great job as always Dorn.
  • Next EG Buzz is at it again. This time for a $500 recurring client. Great job EG!
  • Last but not least, Sandy Alexander, lands a juicy $1,100 restaurant client. And if it goes well, they’ll be opening up a new location next year which will be even more deals for Sandy, great job!

Great job everyone who wrote in this week.

Catch 2

Welcome to “Pirate’s Booty” – a curated stash of local marketing news and content for your reading pleasure.

Starting things off, AI news. You know we’re pretty bullish on AI around here. But that doesn’t mean it’s without it’s downsides or faults.

And this article goes to show that. Because this article talks about how Google’s AI fails at finance queries 43% of the time… Not good. But also not a reason to ditch AI.

If you want to read more about this, find the article here:

Google's AI Fails At 43% Of Finance Queries, Study Finds

Next, something else from Google. This one about Google releasing some info on how to use Google Trends in search marketing.

It’s always good to keep your eyes peeled to the future and this article can help you do that:

On this week’s Aloha Friday Local Marketing Jam Session I sat down with a special guest for:

Which Recurring Revenue Services Are Right For You?

It's no secret that getting lots of recurring revenue is at the core of our agency strategy.

And it's no secret that choosing the RIGHT recurring revenue services can make all the difference when it comes to the health and growth of your company.

So the question is:

Which services are right for you?

This is a very important question we'd like to help you answer on the replay of this week's Aloha Friday Local Marketing Jam Session. On it, Richie Cronin sat down with Dorn “MegaloDorn” Brenton to chat all about this important topic.

They shared what's worked for them, what they've seen work for others, and maybe some new ways to make revenue you haven't even thought of yet.

The replay is up now and can be found by going here:

Attended the School of Hard Knocks. A former restaurant manager in Oklahoma, Tom always wanted to be self-employed and free from the butt-smooching of the corporate world. He wanted success bad enough that he picked up his family, including two small children and moved to beautiful Maui, Hawaii. Starting from zero, Tom embarked on building a local marketing consulting business. And promptly fell on his face! It seems Hawaiians were lovely people, until you tried to sell them something! But he persevered and learned from his mistakes. Today he's arguably one of the most successful in his niche and expecting to grow over 100% this year alone.
